What type of images can I upload?

You can upload valid JPEG or GIF images.

Is there a limit to the size of the pictures I can upload?

Any image wider than 400 pixels or taller than 400 pixels will be reduced in size to fit the site.

Is there a filesize limit to the images I can upload?

Yes, there is a size limit but it is a very generous 2mb. Any image over that size will not be accepted.

Is there anything I can do if my Image is too large?

If your image is too large to upload you will need to use an image editor to reduce the size. One popular programme is Paint Shop Pro.

Are there any guidelines to what I should or shouldn't upload?

Yes, please adhere to the following guidelines.

• Decency

  Please only upload images that the majority of people will find decent and acceptable, ie, no nudity, no porn, no violence etc.

  Do not post vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, racial epithets, harassing, abusive, hateful, libelous, expletives, derogatory or defamatory images, in any variation.

• Children

  Please be very aware of posting images of children associated with a house they are still living in.

• Copyright

  Please only upload photographs or images that you own the rights to.
